Kingfisher Enamelling was founded in 1996 and is a privately owned British company that specialises in the vitreous enamelling of cast iron and steel components for both domestic and commercial purposes.
The mainstream of our business lies in the re-vitreous enamelling of AGA / Rayburn cookers as well as pan supports for domestic, catering and range cookers. Other services extend into areas such as woodburning stoves, cast iron bathroom products, barbecues and even vintage automobile restoration.
Located in the West Midlands area, we are accessible to businesses throughout the UK. Our highly skilled workforce, many of whom have worked with us for over 20 years, bring decades of experience to the business and ensure the work we produce is of the highest possible quality.

Energy Efficient Shot Blast Machine
Kingfisher Enamelling is investing in a new energy efficient shot blast machine to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. This includes the replacement of an ageing shot blast unit to improve productivity and surface preparation quality across the enamelling process.
An initial review of available solutions has identified the following equipment type as a suitable benchmark; however, alternative equipment will be considered where it can demonstrate performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the referenced item.
The proposed scope currently comprises:
A rotary table shot blast machine, suitable for surface preparation of metal components prior to enamelling, with performance equivalent to or exceeding a multi-station rotating table design capable of processing multiple components per load cycle, fitted with an integral dust extraction system and low energy consumption motor specification, to improve both productivity and energy efficiency over the existing machine.

Solar Battery Storage System
Kingfisher Enamelling is investing in additional battery storage capacity to reduce energy consumption and operating costs. This includes the supply and installation of a battery energy storage system to complement the existing 70kW solar PV array, currently operating with two Solis 30kW inverters.
An initial review of available solutions has identified the following equipment type as a suitable benchmark; however, alternative equipment will be considered where it can demonstrate performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of the referenced item.
The proposed scope currently comprises:
A 120kWh (BOL) integrated battery energy storage cabinet, with performance equivalent to or exceeding the capability of an all-in-one LFP battery system rated at 30–60kW, compatible with the existing 70kW solar PV array and dual 30kW inverter configuration. Quotes are invited for both supply and installation.
